RACETRACK ATTITUDE

PETROL REVS UP

As our namesake might suggest, PETROL has passion for all things automotive. Just as Falken brings racing attitude to consumer tires, PETROL seeks to infuse our own high-octane instincts into every piece of content developed for the brand.

Automotive Print

PETROL created Single-Page ads for two different product lines. These ads were meant to reinvent traditional tire advertising by bringing in elements of lifestyle, while still retaining the high-end slickness of top automotive brands.

Trailers

For maximum impact on a budget, Falken gets suped up with motion graphics developed by PETROL.

Website

Falken enlisted PETROL to give their website a complete overhaul and truly accelerate their brand to the next level. PETROL continues to refresh the site and build additional micro sites to keep Falken rolling against the competition.

Micro Sites

PETROL also developed a series of microsites for Falken. For Wegetyougoing.com, PETROL created a social fan experience from the ground up, igniting a new era in Falken’s community outreach. Another online destination, Falken Fanatic, was designed to be the hub for Falken Fans to share, watch and rate user generated content including pictures, video and more. A popular subsidiary of Falken, Ohtsu tires, needed their own branded destination to define themselves as an edgier, younger cousin to Falken. PETROL designed and developed their website to give their brand a home.

Event Marketing

PETROL made a splash at SEMA, by creating a specified sizzle piece for Falken’s LED-Powered, digital wallscape. Through a complicated projection mapping process, we created footage that allowed us to follow a car throughout precise areas of their booth. Thematically, we wanted to take their motorsports roots and expand to a broader, younger audience

Fan Posters

PETROL designed two original fan posters to be used at special events. One, featuring the Falken Girls, proved very popular among Falken enthusiasts. The other, using a stylized blur on a Porsche Cayman, allowed fans to enter a contest to win a similar vehicle by scanning a QR code.
