At PETROL, we understand UFC fans, because we are UFC fans. Over the last 10 years, PETROL has worked closely with UFC’s top brass to develop envelope-pushing campaigns that move the brand beyond the expected. From websites to video games and event posters to apparel, there’s a whole lot of PETROL in the UFC, and we like to think there’s a bit of UFC’s fighting spirit in PETROL too.



Event Posters

Event posters are the icons that represent great moments in the UFC’s history. At PETROL we see every face-off as a chance to change the face of fighting. Every fighter has attitude and every fight has a story. For every poster, we strive to capture that spirit in one compelling image. The fighters have to bring their best, and so do we.

Brand Launches

PETROL has also been fortunate to participate in new branding efforts for various UFC projects including UFC GYM, THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER, and UFC APPAREL, making each property have its own importance under the UFC umbrella.

Video Game Marketing for Fitness and Fighting

Whether your goal is to get fit (UFC TRAINER), or just to avoid the takedown hit (UFC 3), PETROL’s marketing for UFC video games brings the excitement of the fight home to you. The UFC UNDISPUTED series has helped to create a new category of gaming entertainment. PETROL’s, THQ’s, and the UFC’s efforts have resulted in over 6 million units sold globally.

Trailers

Making the trailer for UFC UNDISPUTED 2010, PETROL traveled the world to the respective camps with the exclusive access that comes with being the UFC Agency of Record. In crafting the teaser trailer for Undisputed 2010, which debuted at the Spike VGA awards, PETROL brought the copy line “SO YOU WANNA BE A FIGHTER” to life by morphing among actual fighters as they described the courage and commitment that it takes. For UFC PERSONAL TRAINER, we used an innovative transition style to make training like a real UFC fighter seem possible…in your living room. Because this was the first game to make the star trainers of the UFC accessible to the weekend warrior, our strategy was to make the octagon and the home seamless. While most fighting game franchises rely on very high cost CG or use all in-game fighting, PETROL has pursued unconventional, economical ways of bringing all of the excitement of UFC to life.

Interactive Mini Sites

More than just a fight card, PETROL’s UFC web destinations put you at the edge of the Octagon. Take over units, microsites and rich media units have been an integral part of our partnership. PETROL partners with the UFC to make every event feel like an epic announcement.

Merchandising/Apparel

With PETROL’s design team in their corner, UFC launched a new high-end line of performance wear for men and women available in outlets across the nation.
