This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Petrol Advertising, Inc. (“Petrol Advertising”) collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the http://www.petrolad.com/ website (the “Website”). Personal Information obtained from third parties: We may obtain Personal Information on behalf of and at the request of our clients on a project-by-project basis. We do not collect this Personal Information directly but instead, typically retain a business partner to do so. Once collected, our business partner(s) will transfer the Personal Information to us which we then transfer to our client. The categories of Personal Information collected under these circumstances are specific to the client’s request but may include categories like names, email addresses, phone numbers, and Mobile Device ID information. We may also obtain Personal Information through social media websites like Facebook, which we then transfer to our clients based on a specific project request.

We may use third-party business facilitation partners like Google Analytics to monitor and analyze the use of our Website. Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Website. This data is shared with other Google services. Google Analytics may collect your IP address information as part of its services, which may qualify as Personal Information under certain circumstances. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. We obtain your Personal Information when you provide it to us through the “Contact Us” portal on our Website. We may obtain Usage Data like your IP address or website activity when you visit our Website. Information that is provided by you includes: name, email address, phone number and any information provided in the message field when filling out the contact form. We may also obtain your Personal Information offline when provided to us at conferences, trade shows, or other events we attend.

Petrol Advertising collects, processes (or asks our service providers to process on our behalf), and uses your Personal Information for commercial and business purposes to provide the Services we make available to our clients as outlined above.

Petrol Advertising may also uses your Personal Information to communicate with you regarding your questions or other submissions made to Petrol Advertising, or to send periodic emails, newsletters, or alerts. If you do not want Petrol Advertising to send you communications such as newsletters or announcements, opt-out instructions will be included in the bottom portion of each e-mail we send to you.

We use Usage Data to operate and improve the Website, to identify the popularity of certain features, to assist with internal marketing and demographic studies, to enable us to assess overall efficiency and activity on the Website, and to assess users’ web-browsing activities, preferences, and habits. We also use it to monitor traffic on the Website and to debug and troubleshoot technical problems.

6. Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals under the California Online Protection Act (CalOPPA)

We do not support Do Not Track. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable “Do Not Track” by visiting the “Preferences” or “Settings” page of your web browser. Petrol Advertising may track your online behavior over time and across web services.

Third parties may collect data that relates to you. We cannot control third parties’ responses to do-not-track signals or other such mechanisms. Third parties’ use of data relating to you and responsiveness to do-not-track signals is governed by their respective privacy policies.

7. Your Data Protection and Privacy Rights

California residents: Petrol Advertising has in place policies and procedures to facilitate your exercise of privacy rights available under applicable law. Petrol Advertising therefore informs you that, where applicable under relevant law, you may be entitled to the following:

  • Right to Access / Disclosure: to have access to your Personal Information upon simple request – that is, you may receive a copy of such information upon receipt of a verifiable request, along with other information related to the collection

  • Disclosure of Direct Marketers: to have access upon simple request, and free of charge, the categories and names/addresses of third parties that have received Personal Information for direct marketing purposes. Please see the “Your

  • Right to Deletion / “Right to be Forgotten”: to obtain the deletion of your Personal Information in the situations set forth by applicable data protection law and upon receipt of a verifiable request.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: As defined under relevant law, you have a right to non-discrimination in the Services or quality of Services you receive from us for exercising your rights.

8. California Privacy Rights Regarding Direct Marketing

If you are a resident of California (“California Users”), in addition to the rights set forth in this Privacy Policy, you generally have the right to request information from us regarding the manner in which we share certain categories of personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. However, under the law, a business is not required to provide this information if it adopts and discloses to the public in its privacy policy a practice of not disclosing a user’s personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes unless the user first affirmatively agrees to the disclosure. 9. Children’s Privacy

All of our Services, including our Websites, are intended for adult audiences, and are not meant to address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). As such, Children under 18 may not use our Websites or any other Services.
