Doom Eternal

Doom Eternal

Rip and Tear

We took the 25 year franchise and continued to push it in new directions for a new generation of gamers by capturing the violent, take no prisoners essence of Bethesda’s iconic Doomslayer with executions that spanned from Announcement to Launch. PETROL augmented those efforts with the E3 Announcement Trailer and Launch TV Trailer alongside a suite of Digital Assets that helped move more than 3x units compared to 2016’s Doom.

Raze Hell

Gaming would not be where it is today without the influence of Bethesda Softworks and id Software’s seminal DOOM Franchise and we were proud to help the next step in Doom Eternal.

Battle for Existence

With this latest entry, the stakes were once again raised for the Doomslayer and PETROL was tasked with elevating our creative approach to meet the high expectations of Bethesda and fans alike.

Battle for Existence

Elevate the Power Fantasy

We minimized the gore to broaden the potential audience to action based shooter fans and continue the growth the franchise has experienced since DOOM 2016.

Guns Blazing

We delivered in spades with attitude laced executions that could only minimally prepare audiences for the thrillride that awaited them in Doom Eternal.

Making DOOM Real

Our executions also extended into celebrations for the 25th Anniversary where we crafted key extensions of the franchise feel and look as a loveletter to the fans that have made DOOM so iconic.

Bringing Home Destruction

By campaign’s end, we had been part of key partnerships that helped Doom Eternal become the highest selling game in the franchise.
